Haven’t been blogging for quite some time again. Today is my 2nd week anniversary with Starhub. Hahah, just a mere 2 weeks and I’m gonna take a 2 weeks leave for the FMS Beijing trip.

Realized that I haven’t updated on how my work has been so far. I shall use this time in office to do something more useful like blogging instead of the usual gaming and msning. Now you know how free I am at work. I have no doubts they have some budget they need to desperately spend it off hence the reason for hiring me to do nothing but be a full time slacker who goes for self-declared 2 hour breaks instead of just one, play games n msn for 7 hours everyday.

I’m starting to feel useless, everyone else around seems busier or at least have something to act busy about. I guess we all pretend to be working most of the time. I’m pretty good at it now, mastered the art of pretending to work in just 2 wks. Am I good or what.  I guess it’s not so bad working here after all. Met quite a number of really nice people whom I spent my 2hrs lunch break with.

We’ll be leaving for the BJ trip this tues, 1st Apr, hopefully it’s not a Apr fool joke huh. Well, I’m not exactly excited about the trip, no idea why. Maybe cos the thought of spending my 21st birthday there upsets me or maybe cos it’s just China. I can foresee we’re gonna be so busy working there since this trip is more like a working trip to me. We’re collaborating to produce some episodes of short clips for Channel U/8 and in conjunction with Breadtalk. Episodes will be broadcasted after the Mediacorp news, either ch 8 or ch U during the Olympic games. So.. something to look forward to I guess. J

As of tomorrow onwards, i’ll be officially a morning person. Not that i enjoy it, in fact i totally DETEST it! I’ll be working part time at Starhub Cuppage Plaza (Starhub Coporate office) doing some random admin stuff. Start work at freaking 8:30am lah! Gross! That means i’ll need to wake up at 6:30 every monday to friday! I don’t even wake up that early for classes in secondary school. I have no idea how i am gonna survive this, cos i know it’s gonna be super tough, waking up for the next 6 months at 6 plus in the morning. *Sob Sob*

I guess it isn’t gonna help with me whining about it. Thus, from this day on, i’m gonna attempt to sleep before at 10pm everyday, so i can get sufficient sleep to wake up at disgusting 630AM. So.. i probably won’t be having life for the next 6 months, you’ll probably not even see me blogging that much anymore and of course, not msning anymore, cos I GOTTA SLEEP AT 10AM! YEA, seriously very upset about waking up so early, frankly speaking, i’ll rather a night job. I’ll just need a sip of coffee to keep me through the night, but probably like a dozen cups would also be hard to keep me up in the morning. Anyway, friends, here’s a farewell entry that i might not see you guys so much online anymore. IF you do, do you best to remind me what time i gotta wake up the next day, though i’ll generally filter that reminder. X)

I’m praying hard i’ll meet nice and interesting people there cos the job is superly mundane and BORING lah. Pray pray pray.

After 4 long years, we finally went back to our dearest Girls Brigade 54th coy to help. These 2 days had been a really fruitful experience as we join the kent ridge girls for their camp at the church. It was really nice meeting up with the officers who were with us ever since historical times in the old kent ridge down at Jubilee Road. As we look at those girls, we just can’t help but think of those good’ol days when we were so rebellious and mischievous.

We were just chatting with Ms Liang over dinner about how we were back then, of what ridiculous stuff we did back then. One of those stuff she found it really memorable was in fact my MOST embarrassing moment . There was once when i was in the GB sec 2 camp, i suddenly ran out of the school, down the road, attempting to run home cos i was home sick, and all of them had to chase after me. She kept laughing at how cute i was back then, it’s so embarrassing lah. Can’t imagine i actually did that back then! Anyway, she also recalled that during this SEC 3 GB camp, we actually planned to run away halfway through, and we actually shared with her our plan. We wanted to like steal some food from the kitchen, then throw the food down from second floor and then jumped down using some ropes to getaway. Seriously ridiculous coming to think of it. We were so capable of such nasty stuff back then. Many other stuff we did, some really really nasty..

I do miss those days where we really had so much fun being a small company. Now that the company is bigger, the girls are all so much well-behaved so probably no more such mischievous act around.

I have more pics of us during the two days camp as the girls did outdoor cooking while we cook for the rest of the officers, and baking of curry puffs and brownies! The girls are sooo adorable. After putting the food in the oven, all of them just sat in front of it and watch the brownie rise. A super cute sight.. just wait for the pics.
