A walk back in time.
My butt is still aching so badly from yesterday trip to Ubin, yes, its pulau ubin again.
This time with 4 other people.
Was raining the entire morning and afternoon, but we still DESPERATELY wanted to go. *thus for the ponchos*

Exams are over, no more studying for me for my entire life, unless I decide to go uni some days, la. Can’t believe it, just a blink of eye, I’m already like out of my last studying semester already. Day before yesterday was my last paper after which I had a little pampering session for myself. Had 2 facial masks one after another, did purifying mask then whitening mask, gonna paint my nails later. I’m not vain or what, I’m just a girl. Watched 881 yesterday, yes, again. My second time watching it already, this time watched with Shawn who totally detests it. I love the show, cos its so hokkeinish and techno. But Shawn kept yawning throughout the show, said very boring, not funny etc etc just cos he ‘s Gen Y one, don’t know hokkein one.
*I wanna eat bak kwa. (*ahem)
Anyway, was passing by bukit batok today when I saw this getai (Chinese 7th month performance) at an open field. It was pouring, and there was no shelter except for the stage, but there were a lot of people watching the show still, holding umbrellas standing under the rain just to catch the performance. Steady or what, rain or shine also there to support. If me, so nice weather, go home sleep better. Could see lots of people there, but “those I couldn’t see” were more, erm i believe.
Was at RP the whole day with Pei Xian and Brandon, needed to promote the ARC competition and album. My first time in RP. Ok la, place is quite cool cos got air con everywhere ma. Then they have this pond, river, fountain, pool, no.. , water like thing that stretches 100m long at their school entrance there. Quite cool, but more dumb. Officially opened by Lee Hsein Loong somemore la, cool or what. NP also don’t have loh..

I found back my Emerge makeup competition pictures also, taken by shawn few months ago, now finally saw it. Fean was very upset when the pics was lost, cos she wanted to use it for her portfolio. I also very sad. But thank God, we found it! Hooray! Apparently, shawn saved it on his com, which died about 2 months ago but resurrected today. Surprisingly, after its death for the past 2 months, still haven’t decompose. Only got a bit of webs, mushrooms like thing and some weeds here and there, but anyway ya still can use.

Then we went picture taking. been ages sinces i last did it.. and its getting real expensive, have to pay S$11 to buy 8Yen cos the machine only accepts Yen coins. like what sia. So damn ex la. but we took the pictures anyway.

Launch party at St James
Wasn’t as successful as we expected. The crowd were a bunch of dead zombies. I received the “Most promising” award, so will be working with VA for a year after graduation.
The pay they offer is really really average, but i still accepted. Think it’ll be nice for a portfolio since they offer me a role as a Coporate Relations Exec.
I had fun anyway, although was really exhausting, making up for all the artistes. My helper for make-up was caught up with something so couldnt make it, leaving me with all artistes.. so half the day was spent staring up close at faces after faces, then heads of hair and more heads..
Pei xian asked me if i feel uncomfortable being so close to someone’s face.. cos whenever i makeup for someone, i’ll go really close to them, close enough to kiss them.. but never really feel uneasy before, even if its a opp sex or even if i dunno that person. I’ll just feel really close to that person whene i makeup for him/her.

Happy birthday S’pore n Shawn!
Celebrated Shawn’s birthday today, instead of the nations’. A big sacrifice for a friend.
Anyway, we had dinner at a japanese restaurant called Sun with Moon or Stars with sky or clouds whatever at Central. The food was horrible horrible horrible. Service staff rude. Prices of food were unbelivably high. It was a terrible terrible place and i detest it totally. My first and last time visting there
Only thing was good there was the view. Its right infront of the Singapore long kao. So was quite a pretty sight. *contradicting la*

The caged up tofu cheese cake. So cute but its tiny and expensive. *Looks like tweety bird cage loh.
My beef rice – $16+, that is identical to $5 Yoshinoya beef bowl. Exact chewy long beef n salty rice.
Shawn’s tiramisu cake i chosed from Gobi. 150 grams only, so can imagine how tiny it was, but it was tasty, very strong alchohol taste. Not cheap too, can pay for a 3kg cake with the price.
